Weather on Thursday- heavy snowfalls and stormy winds

The weather for  January 28th Strong winds from West bring intense snowfalls on Thursday. Most snow is coming down from the Black Forest to the Alps.  With upcoming strong winds we expect the danger of snow banks even on highways. In the West especially in the Rhineland snowfalls can fade to frozen rain. Roads can be extremly icy then.
