For all users of APPLE MAC OS X 10.4 we build a little weathermaps widget. The widget shows actually calculated and rendered weathermaps out of our numerical forecast system. The main maps can be found on www.weather365.net .  see screenshot - temperatures Germany

On the backside of the widget you can select which map, region and timestep you want to see. You can choose between the following regions:

• Europe
• Germany
• Germany North
• Germany South
• Alps (Suisse, Austria, Northern Italy ...)
• Lake of Constance (Bodensee)

 Kind of maps:

• clouds
• temperature
• wind
  
  planned: (next versions in widget)
• precipitation
• risk of thunderstorm and showers (experimental map)
• snowfall

Timesteps based on the last numerical forecast -  00UTC or  12 UTC

• +12h
• +24h
• +36h
